Celebrate Jane Yolen’s Book “Not One Damsel In Distress” with one story each week featuring “sword-weilding, spear-throwing, villian-stomping” girls from world folklore. Related activities are designed to empower and recognize the unique strengths of being a girl.
Stories are shared via Facebook Live and archived to be accessed at a later time. Craft and activity kits are available at McIver’s Grant Public Library through limited services inside the building or curbside service.
